The Jumper Dress

I feel like I'm living in the Antartica right now. All my favourite chunky jumpers are out and despite the fact that it's ice cold, I still want to make an effort when it comes to styling my knits.
Jumper dressing can be tricky when it comes to work etc but the lovely ladies above, have taken jumper dressing to the next level! Be ready to take notes, guys.

The Jumper Dress
This is probably the easiest trend to follow. For those 9am starts, a cosy jumper dress is the best thing to throw on in the mornings. I don't wear jumper dresses a lot but when I do, they're usually paired with my Stan Smiths. To smarten up the look, opt for over the knee boots and of course some thick opaque tights.

The Oversized Jumper
Definitely what I've been living in this Winter! Who doesn't love an oversized knit? Not only does it keep you warmer than a normal jumper but you can play around with different styles such as pairing it with jeans and trainers or jazzed up with cigarette pants and heels. If you ever see me around town, just expect to see me in an oversized jumper.
I tend to overbulk myself by adding an oversized coat too but if that doesn't tickle your fancy then keep jewellery to a minimum and keep jeans straight leg or skinny to let the knit do all the talking!

The Cable Mix
I look up to Alexa Chung when it comes to mixing smart and casual styles together. I can't get over how cool and effortless her style is EVERY.SINGLE.TIME.
Alexa is pretty much GOALS!!!! I've started playing around with floral prints (which is sooo unlike me), and honestly anyone can try this look. It's perfect for weekends when you want to stay away from the jeans but at this time of year I reckon I'd still want my tights to stick around.

How do YOU style your knits?

Until next time,

X

Keep up with me x
