Hi guys!
So let me just start off by saying that as I type this, I'm flooding my laptop with tears because I miss Paris sooo much! Lol, not really but I do miss the city of luuuurve. It was my first time in Paris and even though I only spent four days there with my friend, It was the best four days of my life! I was such an annoying little tourist, taking pictures of absolutely EVERYTHING. My friend Debbie can shed more light on this! But hey, pictures are there for the memories right?

Anyways, I decided to do some sort of style diary to fill you guys in on what I wore etc. I came to Paris saying: "I'm gonna wear heels every single day when I'm in Paris." Now, I did try but girl ain't nobody got time for sore feet! When we went shopping, I felt great leaving the hotel in my nude heels but when we got to Champs-Elysees they had to come off. This resulted in me purchasing a pair of black flatform shoes which provided me with more than enough comfort. For the rest of my time in Paris, I just stuck with the flats and wore heels when we went out at night.

I had so much fun shopping on the Champs-Elysees and more importantly, getting to see some of Elie Saab's amazing couture gowns in his fashion house. If you know me, you'll know that Elie Saab is my favourite haute couture designer. Ugh, God bless you Mr.Saab! As well as that, I got the opportunity to see some other high end shops such as Louis Vuitton, Christian Louboutin and Kenzo. There was literally a huge street dedicated to all these designer shops and we most certainly walked by every single one. It was worth it at the end of the day because we don't see things like that over here in little Ireland!

I kept my outfits pretty much simple for the few days I was in Paris. The weather was pretty depressing so it kind of tampered on my mood for a while and y'all know that what I wear depends on my mood! The most annoying thing was that on our last day, the day we were actually flying back home, the weather was beautiful! But let me tell you guys some of the things I purchased. I didn't purchase much to be honest just a pair of vintage Levi's that I got for 10 quid! After searching for hours for a vintage shop in Paris, I eventually found one and spent about an hour in there. Also, I went to H&M and bought a new handbag which is PERFECT for Autumn. I couldn't resist so I carried it with me when I was going back to Ireland. I haven't checked the H&M over here so I'm not sure if it's out yet but I'm pretty sure it is. It'll definitely be one of my "go-to" bags next season. I didn't just buy things for myself because I'm obviously like the most generous person in the world (ha!), but I also bought some souvenirs for my family. You know the usual, key rings and pocket mirrors...

What I really enjoyed the most about my trip to Paris was the fact that I got to visit The Louvre, Arc De Triomph and Eiffel Tower. I really wanted to see the Mona Lisa but the queue was maaaad long and I honestly wasn't bothered standing outside in the rain. It was still a wonderful experience though. I've always seen the Eiffel Tower in movies and in pictures but seeing it in person was a whole new level. Again, it would have been great to go to very top of the tower but ain't nobody got time to queue!

I'm ready for my next trip. This time it ain't Paris ;)
I've left you guys with a few images below to round up my experience in Paris. Really hope you guys enjoyed this post! Thanks and until next time, x

#1 Posing with Elie Saab's mannequins. FAB.
#2 Spotted a large magazine collage on the wall of the hotel lobby
#3 Dolled up for Debbie's 21st Birthday

When I first spotted the LV building I thought it was the store, I went in to find out that it was actually the headquarters! I wandered aimlessly for a while lol.

My first ever polaroid! Taken near The Louvre. I'm Very blessed to have such an amazing friend to share my experiences with.
