Stepping into Fall: Out with the old, In with the new!

Hey guys! So Summer is over and now Autumn is slowly creeping in, yay! Fall (as many Americans would call it) is definitely one of them seasons where you can explore your style in so many different ways. Experiment with Autumnal hues, get into the habit of layering and give your wardrobe a COMPLETE revamp.
As you can see above, I have included images of various items that I have in mind to purchase for the upcoming season. I plan on taking my style up a notch and getting rid of the garbage in my wardrobe whilst replacing it with all the new goodies that are out there for us style conscious ladies.

1. Bright Autumnal hues:  As well as owning jumpers and sweaters in muted colours such as oatmeal and soft dove grey, I have decided to not let Autumn be an excuse for me to remain in dull and dark apparel. This means that there will definitely be one or two burnt orange sweaters and mustard cable knit jumpers lying around. Different colours are suited to different shades of skin tones but there is a colour for everyone! The orange, mustard and yellow hues look beautiful on dark skin while colours such as navy, green and cobalt look great on people with pale skin. It's all about finding out what works for you!

2. Jackets and coats: I haven't been really big into wearing jackets and coats but one thing I said to myself was that this Autumn/Winter, my jacket and coat game has to be U N R E A L. I can just about stand wearing a bomber and leather jacket but recently I have gotten so much inspiration on what coats to buy via Pinterest and Instagram. I am currently obsessing over camel coats and macs. By adding a white shirt with a jumper over it, cigarette pants and a pair of classic trainers, I am sure to achieve a casual tailored look. FAB.

3. The Auberta Pleated Midi Skirt
Right, so I don't wear midi skirts at all. Like I have one that I bought in Bershka at the beginning of Summer. Head over to this post to check it out!
But anyways, I found this skirt on another blogger and it was definitely love at first sight! It is khaki in colour and perfect to wear as a transition outfit, which would be around this time, and even during Autumn itself. By pairing with an oatmeal or camel coloured knit, it makes the outfit more relaxed whilst the tones complement the season very well. Perfect for a gloomy Fall day!

4. Side Piped Joggers
Anyone who knows me will be aware that I do not wear tracksuit bottoms, hoodies or any sort of sport attire. But check this out guys, I've been lusting over black joggers. Sports Luxe was one of the trends in Summer and I see it making its way into Autumn. Primark have their own joggers that are part of their Autumn collection but the only problem I've had with their joggers is the length. They don't cuff my ankles as well as I want them to but hey, let's wait and see!

5.Classic trainers
When I'm not wearing boots or heels, I throw on a pair of trainers for more ease and comfort, especially at work. For Fall, I want to build a collection of trainers from New Balance to Nike. Currently lusting over the Adidas ZX Flux trainers which are only 88 quid, which isn't too bad considering the fact that I've forked out over 120 for a pair of Jordans that I don't even wear that much! Freddie, one of ASOS's Personal Stylists, has really got me into wearing vibrant trainers now. The way she pairs them with various outfits just makes me so damn weak. They're great when it comes to adding fun and colour to an outfit.

6.Mac Pro Lipstick 'Sin'
I'm not a beauty guru whatsoever but when I went to Paris, I happened to stumble upon Mac's Pro lipsticks. Now I can't tell you much about them but from what my friend has told me, they're not available online and can only be found in some Mac stores for a limited amount of time. My friend happened to purchase one of the lipsticks in shade 'Sin' which is one of the nicest shades ever! It is suitable for Autumn as it has a burgundy tone and it is kind to any complexion. I really need to get a hold of this lipstick before it sells out! Girls go CRAY for Mac.

Hope you guys enjoyed this post and please free to comment below or ask me any questions!
Until next time,

Eunice x
